Bob

Idk if you have heard of bob. It’s a version manager for neovim. For most people, the version of neovim does not matter. However, there are many a scenario where you may want the latest neovim on your system, and bob is the thing you need.

After you install bob, here is a snippet to put the latest neovim in your $PATH:

1bob use latest # downloads and installs neovim
2export PATH="$HOME/.local/share/bob/nvim-bin:$PATH"
3echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.local/share/bob/nvim-bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc
